FFKM Rubber Features
Perfluoroether rubber ring is a terpolymer of tetrafluoroethylene, peroxide methyl vinyl ether and perfluorophenoxypropyl vinyl ether, which is a completely oil-free C-H bond rubber with similar thermal bond stability and chemical resistance to PTFE. The level of fluorine content plays a decisive role in the special properties of the alloxy ether glue.
Its properties are:
1. Physical properties, the density of perfluoroelastomer is 1.9~2.0g/cm3, the hardness, tensile strength, tensile elongation, tear strength, tensile long-term deformation, compression long-term deformation, elasticity and other properties of vulcanized rubber, different raw rubber varieties, fillers, vulcanizing agents, etc. can be selected within a certain range to adjust, with good physical and mechanical properties similar to fluororubber. However, the long-term deformation resistance of high temperature compression is better than that of fluororubber.
2. Perfluoroelastomer has excellent high and low temperature resistance. Better than fluoroelastomer, while maintaining good elasticity at high temperature. Among them, perfluoroelastomer Kalrez high temperature resistant grade can be used in 327° environment, which is much higher than fluoroelastomer. Perfluoroelastomers can be used at temperatures up to -20°.
3. Perfluoroether has good solvent resistance and chemical resistance. Perfluoroelastomer can also show excellent performance for chemicals that cannot be used in other rubbers, such as acrylic eye, butyl propylene eye, DNT, ether dichloromethane, etc. However, there will be certain differences because of the different raw rubber grades, so choose the correct rubber grade when using it.
4. Other performance. Perfluoroelastomer vulcanizate also has low permeability to gases and liquids and good combustion resistance, electrical insulation properties, friction and wear properties, thermal conductivity and coefficient of linear expansion.
